Race System Empty
PostSubject: Race System   Race System EmptySun Jul 15, 2018 9:51 pm

There are several races shown in the FullMetal universe, so obviously we would have them here to choose from. Not only this, but each race will grant certain abilities or special skills not available to other races.

Amestrian: These are the most common people in Amestris and are often known for their skill in Alchemy. Those in this race gain a bonus specialty that can go over the cap for their tier.

Xingese: These are the people who hail from Xing and practice Alkahestry. They gain a powerful sensing ability, able to distinguish friend and foe, as well as tell different things such as noticing a homunculi/pseudo-homunculus or a chimera. This extends to a maximum of 50 meters.

Ishvallan: Those who hail from Ishval in the south western border of Amestris. These people are known to be a tightly knit family, unified by their religion. They are known to produce powerful warriors, they may choose to gain +5 to either their speed or strength stats.

Xerxesian: The hearty folk from Xerxes are known to be very knowledgeable and train their bodies very hard. They gain +5 stats to any area of their choice.

Homunculi: Artificially created humans, unable to practice alchemy, but are granted a form of immortality and a special skill based on the sin/virtue they embody. (App for this skill is done in your character app, ALL homunculi start with 20 lives, and gain one life for each life they take NPC or PC.)

Pseudo-Homunculi: A human who has somehow bonded his soul with a philosopher's stone. This race is not only exceedingly rare, but often viewed in contempt by the majority of the world. They gain similar healing abilities to the Homunculi, starting with 10 lives, but they also are given the skill related to their race before they became what they are. As they have a philosophers stone at their core, they can preform some alchemy without a circle or without even clapping. All Pseudo-Homunculi have been to the gate.(Cannot mix with homunculus or Chimera) [an example of this from canon would be Hohenheim.]

Chimera: A human who has been combined with an animal, they are unable to use alchemy, but they gain abilities related to their beast of choice per tier to coincide with the alchemy specializations. (Only real animals allowed, no dragons or unicorns.)

Do not be afraid to suggest or request another race! Feel free to create one in the designated area!
